Last weekend I had the opportunity to spend time with some
really talented quilters from Arizona.
We spent a day reviewing and exploring various compositional arrangements of fabrics, discussing aspects like balance, emphasis or focal point, color, movement and pattern.
Time was spent talking about the importance of the stitching line as an additional element to the finished works. Everyone was well underway after the three days of designing, discussing, experimenting and pushing the boundaries of each participant's usual way of working or thinking about quilt design.
Well Done, Ladies!
Here are some of their results!
Thanks for this opportunity to engage with you all.
