First Poppy of the Spring!

I couldn't resist putting these 2 images together for a quick post.
The poppy bed is one of the prettiest spots in our yard during the spring.
We even like to leave the stalks with the seed pods standing for a long time after the petals have fallen off.
They look so architectural in the garden and drop their seeds for more poppies the next year.
That is why the stalk and seed pod is so prominent in the artwork.
