I love abstract work that has a strong emotional quality to it.
And I definitely get that in the work of Canadian artist, Marie Bortolotto.
The work is so free.
It is the kind of thing that one can't plan out but something that pours from the
heart/soul of the artist.

While my work is nothing like this, I find the compositional qualities and the drawn elements
so engaging.  There is a depth to her layers that makes me want to see beyond the surface.
That is where I derive inspiration from this muse.
